Most dealers would probably say that the only year worse than 2010 for car sales was 2009. But there are definite signs that 2011 will be a better year for car sales than either of the previous years. To take advantage of any improvement, we recommend you send someone from your dealership to NADA next month. If you’re the owner of your store(s), you should go. If you can’t go, send your GM or send someone that can return with a report on what new innovations they discover.
In addition to the many workshops and speakers, be sure to visit the exhibition hall. This is where the national vendors present their latest innovations, special offers, and presentations on their products that can improve your dealership. Here is a schedule for this year’s convention:
