Mobile Inspector from cDemo

Vehicle merchandising drives online shoppers to connect with the store through phone, email, chat, and walking in. When those handling your consumer contacts have access to better information and have access to it as soon as the vehicle arrives at the store, they set more appointments and close more sales.   Mobile Inspector from cDemo can be used by anyone. The process is in the software rather than in the mind of the user. Just as a navig...

I hate to say it, but there’s not enough room in my brain for all the things I learned at the Automotive Marketing Boot Camp. I went to a variety of the seminars, technology showcases, and heard the presentations they had at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Wow! Let me give you a small taste for those of you that couldn’t make it to the event. If you missed out on the Automotive Marketing Boot Camp, don’t worry, there is still time to sign up for their next event.

One of the speakers, Jerry Thibeau (PhoneupNinjas.com) phone-mystery shopped most of the dealerships owned by the attendees and played some of the recordings during his talk. Thibeau illustrated why dealers need to improve their salespeople’s phone skills.

Online Reputation Management was a big topic too. If your dealership comes up on Google Places (the map thing) you better check the reviews of your dealership. According to Brian Pasch of PCG, if your reviews are bad, you are selling cars for your competitors. Fortunately there are solutions to improve your online reputation.

David Page of Dealer e-Process gave a great talk on fixed ops. The attendees at that seminar came out of his talk very pleased and planning to implement what they learned. Another informative talk came from Allan Chell, owner of Canadian company, cDemo. He gave an informative talk about the Impact of Rich Content with regard to the vehicles you offer online.

I was particularly impressed with some of the things taught by JD Rucker of TKcarsites. He talked about social marketing and where we are going in the future. He also mentioned that TKcarsites is the owner of a website at the bleeding edge of social marketing, call Hasai.com. If you visit this site and explore a bit, you will find some interesting information. There were many more great speakers, too many to describe here.

If you were unable to make it to the Automotive Marketing Boot Camp in Orlando, fear not, the folks at PCG are bringing the show to you…sort of. They are planning road show called PCG Pit Stops. At the time of printing this issue they had four planned: July 11-12 Chicago, July 16-17 Los Angeles, August 13-14 St. Louis, and September 10-11 in Toronto, ON Canada. For more information visit: www.pcgdigitalmarketing.com and click on the “Pit Stop” link at the top.

I am sure we will have more info about these events at www.DealerMarketing.com too.
